Biking the White Rim Trail – Moab, Utah

February 26, 2017

This post has been in the queue for quite some time and now that I’ve found a few hours on a Sunday, I’m finally going to write about it. Moab, Utah. What a wild and desolate place.  The emptiness and remoteness is inviting yet terrifying all at once. In March of 2016 I found myself next to … More Biking the White Rim Trail – Moab, Utah

Still a little thin down low, but conditions up high on the wishbone are 👌 #splitboarding #getoutside #friendsofthesanjuans
No need for a double rap when you've got the monster 80m. Looking forward to getting back out to this incredible place very soon, but with the snow starting to fly in the mountains there's going to be some tough decisions to make #lifeishard #flyingtortilla
The La Plata's are quite possibly the most underrated mountain range in Colorado, and I'm okay with that.. #nothingtoseehere #justanothermountain #dinnerplates
With the #416fire burning and the continued closure of all blm, open space and San Juan National Forest, it's made me realize how vital these lands are to my everyday life. Not being able to access this land has been a slow torture and I'm praying for continued rain to bring these lands back to health. . This was taken last week before the closure and on the same day the fire doubled in size. We watched from a ridgeline in the La Plata's as the fire slowly crept it's way West. #prayforrain
Climbing in Ouray is full on adventure status Step 1: tyrolean across the river 10' upstream from a water fall and your impending death Step 2: scramble up a class 4 gulley to a dicey, exposed traverse Step 3: rap the route down into the canyon Step 4: climb your ass back out of the canyon Step 5-7: rap back down the class 4 gulley, tyrolean back across the river, and drink the beer that you didn't forget at home. New step 1: don't forget the beer!
